Pinterest Challenge: Week 1 (pots-de-creme)

For my first week of the Pinterest Challenge, I made this little dessert, pots-de-creme, a rich chocolate custard pudding. I'll admit I cheated a little and first made this on Valentines day. But, it was so amazing that I wanted to make it again. Yesterday I did just that!

Let me just tell you, this is SO SO SO easy that you will want to make it again and again like I did. The chocolate pudding part only takes about 10 minutes to whip up and then you put it in the refrigerator for 4 or more hours.

These little glass jars held about 3 oz of the pudding and that seemed like just the right amount before I went into chocolate overload.

I opt out of the raspberry whipped topping just for the ease of a ready-made whipped topping. I did however add the colorful nonpareils for a splash of pretty!

I really hope you try this out, maybe make it for a date night and your sweetheart will think you tried real hard!
