La Vie En Rose

What a busy week! I taught/presented two lesson plans, one in my p.e. methods class and the other in literacy. I always fret and OVER plan these things! I did really well, but the question is, was it worth the extra stress I put on myself? I also found out that I aced 100% my first test since being back in school after having Tugger!

But with all of this, I haven't had time for much of anything else. I did manage to turn a pair of flair leg jeans into skinnies!!! Have I told you how much I love this skinny jean thing? I hope it's a trend that never ends! Tutorial to come... but here's your before pic.

Also, I found some fabric to make a maxi skirt. This is a major trial run but if it goes well, I will be making one for Easter with some fabric that I've been eyeing that cost a bit more. As it is, I picked these up for a dollar/yd both the sheer outer fabric and the lining, so they'll be perfect for a trial.

Tugger got a hair cut, his 3rd in just over a year. That kid has one massive head of hair and lately it has been driving me crazy! So I sat him in the sink and went to town. Then he figured out how to turn the water on, whoops. Anyway a clothing change later... well you can see for yourself, so cute. I think he deserves two pictures!

An attempt to spike his hair.

And, in preparation for Valentine's Day (the day I met my sweet husband!), I thought I'd let in a little La Vie En Rose by watching my favorite movie Sabrina! My cousin Kathleen was over though, and we ended up talking through the whole thing, so I may have to watch it again tonight! Nothing beats some good girl talk though!

Don't you just love her hair?

Make sure to look out for my skinny jean tutorial later this week! How is your Valentine's week going?
