My excuse this time? Finals week!!! Yes, I do think that's a pretty good excuse. I had my first State Literacy Exam (you know, one of those tests you must pass to be come a teacher), as well as other tests and projects. Oh, and I got straight A's!
I have a week and a half to relax before I do it all again for spring semester, so the grand finale tufted headboard project MUST be finished by then!
Now, let's take a look at the Aviator Onesie Tutorial shall we!
Don't you just love the neon yellow/green!
The striped onesie I did along with it got baby food on it before I even had the chance to take more picures, so I'll just tell you that I used masking tape to make the stripes, but the rest was the same.
I think the process is pretty straight forward, but you can also check out THIS freezer paper tutorial that I did a few months ago. Freezer Paper (found in the grocery store by the plastic wrap and tin foil) is awesome because it's slightly plastic-y on one side, allowing it to be ironed on and peeled off easy. The other side is just like paper, so you can send it through your printer or draw straight on to it!
Here's the full body shot (sorry for the pun):

As I finish this up, I hear a thunderstorm brewing outside, so I guess we'll be staying indoors this weekend. Maybe I'll do some sewing.
What fun (or not so fun) projects are in the mix for you this weekend?
