I want to start doing a series of posts
just for "reflecting" on whatever I feel like at the moment. I don't
know if I'll post once a week or only once in a while... I guess that depends
on how busy I am. But it's always nice to pause—here on the blog and in real
life—to see the beauty around us and feel God’s love for us. That is what I
intend for these reflection posts.
Just last evening, my husband and I
were able to go on a really beautiful hike around the Menan Buttes. People in
Rexburg just call it “R” mountain, but I like to call it what it is. There were
a lot of these flying fire ants that were not pleasant, but I realized as we
were hiking and looking around just how beautiful even the desert land of Eastern
Idaho can be. So from that point, I decided I’d try to capture the beauty in it
rather than hate the flying ants. I still ran from their swarms though, you
better believe it!
