And it has turned into quite the family vehicle over the years. It's hauled all our belongings from one state, across another, to another state. It's also done quite a few road trips, including a couple ferry rides to and from Victoria, BC for our honeymoon. It fit our GINORMOUS 3000 piece jigsaw puzzle on a piece of plywood, from Washington to Idaho, all so that I could finish the last 100 or so pieces. It carried our precious cargo, Tugger, home from the hospital and everywhere since!
It's simply there when you need it.

Well, today I needed it. Um, mainly to make my outfit look cooler than it really was. And to make me not feel so awkward while taking my first outfit pictures (that didn't contain something I sewed).
Also, I'm not sure it worked.
I really kept this outfit simple and comfortable, two things I love. I went with black jeggings and a basic white henley, but to polish it up a bit, I added the loafer flats and jacket.
I simply adore these Target flats for their color, shape, texture, price tag, etc. And they did their job well, of making a simple outfit into something a bit more trendy.
Although I know I'll still feel a bit awkward (read: vain) taking outfit pictures, it was pretty fun, so I'll probably continue to do an outfit post here and there. Are there any questions you would like addressed when it comes to creating an outfit that's put together but not over the top? If so let me know and maybe I can address them in upcoming posts.
Now you want a Jeep too, don't you?!
